Course Rationale

Industries are typically made up of numerous departments that each manage a separate area of the organisation, sometimes dispersed across several sites. For instance, there might be production facilities with specialized equipment as well as divisions for operations, sales, marketing, and other things. While each of these departments has unique requirements, they also all need to communicate with one another. This is accomplished by using a number of layers, each of which allows for the use of optimised technologies and protocols while also enabling communication between the levels.
